Would you like to perfect your dressage test? do you need a little help or an extra pair of eye to see just how well you're doing? or are not quite brave enough to compete just yet or just not sure if you're ready?

Well come and use our facilities in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere on Monday the 21st July 2008 when we shall be holding the first of our Dressage Training Evenings. Starting at 4.00pm you will have the chance to practice your tests by riding one in the laid out arena under the watchful eye of a qualified instructor and dressage enthusiast. At the end you'll be given a test sheet with some pointers on how you can improve your performance.

You can choose between a Walk & Trot test, Prelim 4 or Novice 28 test and the session will last about 45mins depending on the number of riders. During Spring (April-May) 2007 we have had our grazing paddocks professionally ploughed up and the soil enriched, then subsequently re-seeded for grass to improve their grass yield and longevity. In the meantime we are putting to good use the paddocks that were rested over the Winter, whilst our new lush grass matures.

In 2006 we introduced the newly extended indoor school, measuring a full 120' x 100' (38m x 30m) - and with the new classroom-like floodlighting ( giving 400 LUX suitable for show-jumping) giving a bright and spacious , yet sheltered riding environment . Throughout the year the school has been in use day and night with regular Jumping Shows and Dressage Events. Although we still have more spectator seating to complete, we can report that the arena has had a new sand and rubber surface and for 2007 a brand new sprinkler system to reduce the amount of dust, and firm up the surface -   which has vastly improved the overall riding experience.

All in all this makes a superb partner to the massive 215' x 100' (65m x 30m) floodlit outdoor arena already at Cloud Stables.

Completed in 2006, the new American Barn has proved to be a fantastic success. The addition of the 10 new boxes, all 12' x 12', has increased the overall capacity for liveries to 40. Demand remains high for the new boxes although the odd space does become available.
