We offer a range of riding lessons to suit every rider from the complete
novice (with no previous knowledge) to the experienced rider who wants to brush up or improve their
skills.
For the novice rider, adults, children or RDA riders, there are are a number of Private (one to one) lessons available with BHS approved Riding Instructors. As the rider becomes more experienced then there is the opportunity to move into Shared Private lessons where there will be two or more people in the lesson or Group lessons where a number of riders are taken through a variety of progressing skills and exercises e.g. drill riding , jumping, dressage, etc.
In addition to the standard riding lessons we also offer "Tots Trots", Pony Mornings, Pony-Days
, Pony Weeks and Summer Pony Camps for those who love to look after
horses and ponies. We also have Lectures, Stable Management Courses,Road Safety Courses and associated
Instructional Hacks.
With an experienced staff of Qualified Instructors and our floodlit Indoor School (above) and Outdoor School (below), we will always have a suitable horse/pony with an appropriate Instructor, in a safe and friendly environment, to give you the best riding lessons in the area.
Plus if you've always wanted to own your own horse but never had the time or money, Cloud Stables can offer you the opportunity to loan one of our school horses for riding in a lesson and in one or two of our normal livery sessions. The loan of a school horse means you can get involved in the 'horse experience' as much as you want, you can groom, muck-out and shower loads of love and attention on your equine friend. You can also use the opportunity to enhance your riding skills by making full use of the extra riding time.
In 2006 we introduced the newly extended indoor school, measuring a full 120' x 100' (38m x 30m) - and with the new classroom-like floodlighting (giving 400 LUX suitable for show-jumping) giving a bright and spacious , yet sheltered riding environment . Throughout the year the school has been in use day and night with regular Jumping Shows and Dressage The arena had a new sand and rubber surface in 2007 and a brand new sprinkler system to reduce the amount of dust and firm up the surface. All of which has vastly improved the overall riding experience.

Notes:
All lessons are charged per person unless otherwise stated.
BHS Approved riding hats can be provided if required (free of charge).
If you fail to turn up for a lesson then you will be charged the full cost of the lesson.
Cancellation less than 24 hrs before lesson will incur a charge of 50% of the lesson fee.
Group Lesson becomes ½ hr Shared Private if only two riders in Group (at
no extra cost)
Group Lesson becomes ½ hr Private if only one rider in Group (at no
extra cost)
Discounted lessons are available for our Livery Owners.
Horses or Ponies are sometimes available for loan when available - Please ask the Staff!
